My name is Deriz Syahpatria Syarief, live in Jakarta, Indonesia. As journalist, I spent five years covering information technology specializing in enterprise system. Now I’m in charge of leading Bisnis Indonesia digital media business –that is products and services that is not printed on paper but delivered through digital channel. Bisnis.com is the flagship brand of Bisnis Indonesia online media.

Most of my work involves in identifying and creating value for Bisnis Indonesia’s audience using  the latest digital media technology to deliver content. Sounds more like business development, the first phase of the whole  marketing process. Well that’s true, but in developing business using relatively new technology in a company with more than 20 years of newspaper tradition, it takes more than writing business plan or product specification and let the production team or marketing team do the rest. Managing changes, projects and operations  are integrated part of my job.
